Need A Travel Sim Card?

(beep)

hi future anna. how you doing? i'm feeling fineeee, just spoke to my friend emma over facetime, and she is leaving for NYC in a few days! I have always been a homebird as my mum describes it. I love being at home, and even though I enjoy going out and experiencing new places, I love being safe in my home with my family. After speaking to emma, it made me think how little I want to travel. no, maybe I've phrased that wrong. I want to travel, but I don't have a list of places I want to travel to. make sense?!?! hopefully! haha! anyway, it made me think that maybe I should look at places I want to go to, so here I am going to have my list. hopefully you have visited a few or all of these places future anna!

travel bucketlist
(not in order, just as they came to my head)

Studio Ghibli Museum, Mitaka, Japan

I am obsessed with studio ghibli films. I haven't seen all of them, but from what I have seen, I know that I love them. the art is SO BEAUTIFUL and the work that goes into them is incredible. I would love to see the characters and the gardens and be in such a pretty and inspiring place.

Mount Rushmore National Memorial, South Dakota, USA

One of my favourite childhood films is 'Richie rich'. in the film, the family have a mount rushmore style monument of their faces in the back garden which leads to a safe containing their treasures. the original has always fascinated me, so I would love to see it. bastille also recently saw it whilst they have been on tour in America so it would be cool to see where they stood. #fangirllife

Universal Studios, Hollywood, USA

NO JOKE I AM WRITING THIS WHILST WATCHING YOUTUBE VIDEOS AND THE AD BEFORE THE VIDEO IS FOR UNIVERSAL STUDIOS WHATTTT!??!?! anyway, I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to visit the harry potter themepark and the rest of universal as  love films and would love to be able to experience this magical place. I also love rollercoasters and rides (apart from the Pinocchio ride at Disney because that's scary) so I think it would be awesome! tbh, any theme park in America would be cool!

Tokyo Disney Resort, Urayasu, Chiba, Japan

I went to Disneyland in paris a few years ago. it was a magical experience and then I wanted to visit the one in America. I then googled around and found that there is a Disney resort in japan. I was so fascinated by how beautiful it looked in videos and pictures that I changed my mind from the American one (would still love to go) to the one in japan!

Twede’s Cafe in North Bend, Washington, USA

a random café you say? well not so random if you're a fan of twin peaks. this café was used as the double R diner in the show and is still open selling pie and "damn fine coffee"! I don't even like coffee but I would order one just to be as cool as special agent dale cooper!

Taj Mahal, Agra, India

a basic one, but such a lovely place that so so many people recommend.

Sistine Chapel, Vatican City, Italy

another basic but beautiful one. I want to visit Italy so much, and this would be a definite place to go. I just want to lie on the floor and look at the ceilings to be honest.

Grand Canyon, National Park, Arizona, USA

does anyone else love tom hank's appearance in the simpsons movie when he says that there will be a kinda new grand canyon where springfield is in the ad? does that description make sense? well I would love to visit (and bastille have been). I completely fell in love with hiking whilst travelling around the blue mountains in Australia and feeling tiny whilst stood on the edge. my problems didn't exist and everything was fine. I would love to feel that again but somewhere completely different.

Stonehenge, Wiltshire, England

I once visited Stonehenge a few years ago. like 10 years ago. however I didn't actually get to see Stonehenge (well I did from a distance) as I think it was too expensive, or there was a long line or something but I can't really remember. anyway, I would love to go back and actually see it, especially as I love the Stonehenge bit in the spinal tap film! hahaha!!

Petra, Jordon

an idiot abroad. that's all i'm gonna say. oh, and Indiana jones.

Easter Island, Chile

have you ever seen the film HOP? well I saw it in cinemas and I loved how easter island looked so I would love to go! I love the history behind it, but the hop film was very good so I guess that's the main reason.

Santa Barbara, California, USA

katy perry was born and grew up here. that's about it for the reasons why. gosh why am I like this?!!?

Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival, California, USA

basically everyone has this place on their list! I love festivals, but I would probably be awful at Coachella as I would just go and watch the music and not sit and take photos. no hate intended, but that seems to be all anyone does there! haha! anyway, me and some friends have made a pact to take us all to Coachella if one of us becomes really rich or famous. fingers crossed, ay!

Glastonbury, Somerset, England

same kinda thing as Coachella! I would love to wait til there is everyone performing that I love so it would be the greatest experience, but might not happen! who knows!

Machu Picchu, Peru

another film related idea. you know monte carlo where at the end the kinda step sister is dating that boy and they go on loads of adventures, well one place they go to is machu picchu! it seems such a lovely place, and I might bump into Paddington bear.

Golden Gate Bride, San Francisco, USA

a basic one, but a must!

Legoland Billund, Denmark

my family and I are hoping to visit LEGOLAND Windsor this summer, but I would love to visit the original park in Denmark! I love lego, and if anyone in the family gets a set, it's normally down to me to build it! I can't wait to visit the park in the UK, so imagine what this one would be like!

Statue of Liberty, New York City, USA

another basic one, but it would be so cool to see lady liberty in person. also, it isn't on the list but new York as a whole would be fabulous! also, apparently the water in NYC is really good. emma please test it for me cheers xoxo

Pompeii, Italy

many people don't want to visit Pompeii as it's such a sad place. I love history and things like that, so I think that's why I want to go. I think it would be amazing to see the place itself and really ground me to see what I have and how these people suddenly lost everything and this place. also, I would love to listen to Pompeii by bastille here of course.
ok whilst we're talking bout Italy, I might as well throw in that I wanna see the floating streets of venice, the island of capri, Florence, and basically anything that italy has to offer ok cool let's continue ...

Hobbiton Movie Set, New Zealand

CAN YOU IMAGINE STEPPING INSIDE A HOBBIT HOLE?!!? I remember first reading the hobbit. it was in primary school and that night my dad let me fall asleep whilst listening to the audio book of the hobbit on tape. we still have those tapes. it would be incredible to see the set that was used, and the whole area around it.

A One Dollar Pizza Place, New York City, USA

right, I did google this before I started this list as I wanted to know the exact place that casey neistat goes to, but I couldn't find the info. but apparently there are lots of places that sell lovely pizza for a dollar, so if it was upto me, I would spend the day going round new York buying loads and eating it!

Charm City Cakes, Baltimore, USA

most people used to be obsessed with cake boss. I WAS OBSESSED WITH ACE OF CAKES! I think I have seen every episode, and I think it would be amazing to see the bakery where duff and the team work! I think duff has a bakery somewhere also, but to see the original place would blow my food loving mind.

Alice In Wonderland Inspired Restaurants, Japan

another foody place, but there are so many themed places to eat in japan. some types that I love the look of are ones inspired by alice in wonderland. they look BEAUTIFUL! and I think katy perry went to one and drank through a glasses shaped straw when she visited whilst on her California dreams tour. who knows, I might even go to all of them.

Cheesecake Factory, USA

wow, look, another food related one. if you know me, you know that I love cheesecake!! I would love to visit one of the cheesecake factories in America as they are dedicated to the stuff. hopefully you have been when you are looking back at this future anna.

Iceland

the northern lights, whale watching, what more could you want?! I think it would be such a beautiful place to visit and hopefully one day I will get there!

Museum of Ice Cream, Los Angeles, USA

wow. HAVE YOU SEEN THIS PLACE ONLINE??! I didn't know it existed until katy perry posted a few pictures of her visit on Instagram. a few weeks later, kate nash posted pics of the place too. it was then that I decided that I would love to visit and see the story of ice cream. and it would make a cool backdrop for insta pics, haha!

The Louvre, Paris, France

who wouldn't want to visit possibly the worlds most famous art gallery? I have always wanted to go, but with the release of lorde's new album which includes her song 'the louvre' it has made me want to visit even more! I love art galleries, and the van gogh one in Amsterdam was so beautiful, so this one is definitely on my list!

that's all I can really think of for now. obviously I want to visit lots of places and countries, but I feel that for me, I want to visit a place for a certain thing, rather than just to go. I might do an updated one of these in the future, but hopefully you get to visit all of these places, or already have future anna! i also want to wish all the luck in the world to my bestie emma, and I can't wait to see where the world takes us in the future! happy travelling!

p.s. if you are not future anna, umm... hello? why are you listening in to what i'm saying on the phone? nah, it's fine! let me know if there are any other places I should consider or what's on your travel bucket list!
